I fully recommend UK Alternative Energy, they have been very helpful and polite from my initial enquiry right through to the installation of my solar panels and Tesla Powerwall. Nothing was too much trouble, I had plenty of questions for Derrick, either by email or over the phone, which he always found the time to answer clearly, whether it was technical or on installation procedures. The quotation was very competitive, set out professionally and in an easy to understand manner, which was very reassuring. The installation was also professionally carried out by Dave and Tom and they were more than helpful throughout the day, keeping me informed and discussing any positional choices. It's a month now since the install and everything is running fine, I even received a courtesy call from Derrick last week which was nice. Overall the whole experience was pleasing and worry free, so a big thank you to Derrick and his team :-)

Panasonic TCap Air source heat pump Installation. I apologize for not submitting a review before but I really wanted to get a full months worth of energy figures which I now have. First however I would just like to say that from start to finish it has been a very positive experience with no pressure exerted and workmanship to the highest standard and so far a saving of nearly 50% on my electric usage.Which is much better than anticipated. Admittedly it's early days but I think it's realistic to expect excellent energy savings over the whole year.. I would wholeheartedly recommend UK Alternative Energy and will be contacting them soon for a PV installation the next stage of of my quest to do something about my carbon footprint and energy costs. I would heartily recommend this company if you are looking for a good supplier for renewable energy installations. Their sales people are more engineering consultants than horrible pushy sales people. They really know their stuff and were VERY helpful. They guided me through every step of the process including getting the RHI rebate from the Government. The installation was also very smooth and well managed with frequent visits from the company to make sure the work was proceeding as planned. The electrical and plumbing work was all done to a high standard with very well mannered, competent technicians. Having the company relatively local to me is also a big plus. I really cannot fault them and I'd be happy to speak directly to any prospective customers.
Received my first quarter FIT payment and it was already over 40% of our potential total benefit in year 1, not taking into account money saved on electric bills and the use of an ImmerSUN. I can see us exceeding these figures which will be amazing (and more money). Look forward to my next quarter payment in a months time. Thought I'd add an update. At the end of year 1 my system over-performed with an additional 15% generation. This increased the annual income/saving by an extra 78 on top of the already impressive first year amount.
There was a slight mix up in communication, mainly due to me losing my phone. It was sorted well and we were very happy with the service and the people who carried out the Ours was not a straightforward job - panels on three sides with scaffolding over a garage and conservatory and they were not phased by this. Derrick is very good at explaining details, and took time to fill in all the paperwork on completion. The whole team was very good. We wouldn't hesitate to recomend the company
