Stayed here for a week which should have been our honeymoon, however due to Covid twas not to be. Run by a warm, friendly couple, who are happy to keep out of your way or go the extra mile to make your stay special. Fantastic cozy cottage set in fantastic grounds in a truly stunning location. Outdoor hot tub was great though be ready to tend the fire for a good 6-8 hours to get it hot throughout, not an issue with the views from the deck proving to be inexhaustible. Enclosed, dog-proofed grounds are amazing for dog owners, and Max (the owners' dog) made a friend for life in our boy. The pebble beach is also great, we spent hours skipping stones over the loch, and there is some good walking over the surrounding highland. Truly secluded down a 20min long 4x4 only dirt track, but close enough to Ullapool (40min) to not feel too far. Looking forward to coming back in the future, having left restored and de-stressed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Well what can we say, apart from this place is amazing. We stayed at Coorie Cottage for our honeymoon, and it was the most relaxing week we've had in a long time. Swims in the loch, walks straight out of the door, fresh air, and fantastic hosts, what else could you ask for?! If you're looking for peace, tranquility, and seclusion, then this is your place. The owners can't do enough for you, whether it be taking you across the loch in their speedboat to Ullapool, or bringing you the local fishermans catch, all freshly cooked for you by Lou herself! Thank you so much Lou and Nigel, you made our time at your cottage very special indeed.
The most magical place to stay in the Scottish Highlands! The setting is wonderful, the cottage beautiful and cosy, and the Hosts very friendly and welcoming. We had a superb week with our 2 Golden Retrievers, who had the freedom to wander wherever they wanted safely. Lou made us a magnificent platter one evening, of the freshest seafood that Ullapool could offer, as well as a delicious pudding. We cannot wait to return to this fabulous spot. Stunning scenery and breathtaking walks make this a real paradise.
Truly magical place, everything you need in a very special cottage that gives a hug as you walk through the door. Nigel and Lou are the best hosts, nothing to much trouble whilst your privacy completely respected. You won't be dissapointed, after an adventure to arrive at this idyllic location, perfect for complete peace and relaxation x
The most magical little place! We had such a wonderful time here, and Nigel and Lou are fabulous hosts. We loved being so remote, and having such a cosy cottage to ourselves. This is a great location from which to explore the Highlands, and a highlight for us was Nigel whizzing us across the loch in his boat to buy some local seafood. We were made to feel so welcome but our privacy was respected at all times. I couldn’t recommend Coorie Cottage highly enough.
