Lovely walk for the kids, hard enough to keep them entertained but not enough to wipe them out. Easy access from ullapool and stunning views all the way up and down

Great views but relatively steep climb. Good place to watch sunset and see overview of Ullapool

Great views for very little effort.

An easy walk from the town that is just strenuous enough to make you deserve the ice-cream you can buy at the West Coast Delicatessen in town. The views of the town loch and surrounding area are also reason enough to make the effort.

Absolutely brilliant hotel hidden away in the most gorgeous valley. Well worth booking ahead though. The most helpful staff.

Great views of Ullapool and the surrounding area. You don't even need to climb to the top of the Hill! On a clear day, you can see across the Summer Isles to the Isle of Lewis.

It was a beautiful sunny day, a little bit blustery. The hill itself offers routes of differing lengths and difficulty (see tourist information office for a free pamphlet- colour coded) we combined a couple and chose to reach the top and were rewarded with fantastic views. You don't have to reach the top to get some breathtaking sights of the town, harbour and quarry. Top tip : wear sturdy shoes.

Panoramic views of the mountains and loch Broom out to the summer isles.
