I could say we were lucky, got a “private tour” due to the current situation. The place is interesting and captivating, clean and very well looked after, and very well organised in the light of current events. Is children safe and I highly recommend taking your kids there for a weekend or even holiday activity, my 5 years old enjoyed the visit. We will definitely come back next year.

Lovely little place. Very covid friendly (as long as everyone remembers to social distance inside! Nothing to do with the aquarium just general public forgetting!). Reasonable admission price but doesn't take long to go round.

Excellent little aquarium, but only took 30 mins to walk around with a 3yr old. Lots of lovely displays and information. The otters were a lovely sight.

Adhering to social distancing is easy at the aquarium as the floor is clearly marked and staff in masks help guide you through. Unfortunately due to the outbreak we were unable to see any displays or talks as these are suspended. A few tanks could do with a clean and unfortunately it only took about half an hour to get round with no discount for lack of attractions due to Covid. An enjoyable half an hour however!

Beautiful place, it was a little ️ and there was little rain, aquarium is small but kids would.love it, plenty of parking, near to the lake aquarium there is lakeside boating and steam train available. Recommended for everyone for a great weekend out. Boating is also recommended but book online due to covid as spaces may be limited. Njoy

Great day out. Clean and staff friendly. We stopped and visited the Aquarium whilst waiting for the return boat trip. My partner had been many years ago and wanted to show me. We had an enjoyable visit. Would go again. Good value for money

Plenty to look at. Allow yourself 1-2 hours to get around. Always a great time for young children.
