A true gem of Ulverston. What this cinema lacks in state of the art it more than makes up for in ambiance. Excellent value for money for the full cinema experience. Cannot fault the way they have managed showings during the Covid restrictions of 2020.

Lovely little cinema! It has a lot more atmosphere than the chain cinemas do. Only 6 for an adult ticket. Bought an ice cream during the interval which was 2. Bargain all round. Just wrap up warm it's quite nippy in there.
We're very lucky to have the Roxy Cinema in our home town. The team has worked hard to bring a range of films to the screen during an incredibly difficult time when new releases are few and far between. We've enjoyed seeing classic films alongside some new releases over the past few months, all within a well managed Covid compliant venue. The staff are fantastic and always welcoming whether it's seasoned regulars, occasional visitors or those dropping in for the first time. One of my favourite places in town.
Really needs updating. Overpriced at 12, and seriously understaffed. No reserved seating, booked online over a week in advance and couldn't get a good seat. Got stuck in back corner with view partially obscured. Seats are uncomfortable, hard seats and legs squashed against seat in front, I'm not even tall. Was also freezing cold during the movie. It's middle of winter and no heat. Had to wear jacket and scarf during movie. Seriously needs refurbished or shut down immediately as it's not fit for use as a cinema. Save your money and go to another cinema.

Really refreshing to out and watch a low budget British film, the man in the hat. Very enjoyable. Great programme produced by the roxy. See you next week to watch another film
Great atmosphere staff are all nice and Polite and maintain Covid 19 safe practices. Food & drinks are reasonably priced, they do not mind if you bring in your own food & drinks as long as you purchase something at the start or at the intermission.
Great place, friendly staff lovely vibe but would be better if they played more films or a more variety in them.
