Well organised covid precautions, super friendly stallholders.

A super little indoor market to buy all sorts of useful items. I got some good quality socks and a knitted jumper on my last visit, they we're better value for money than the big chain stores and supermarkets. Only downside is the toilets are closed.
Lots of friendly local stalls with good variety of products. Currently observing COVID restrictions with one way system. Cafe situated on site as are toilets (although the loos are currently closed).
Plenty to explore. Nice traditional market. A couple of the stall holders seemed disinterested but most were very welcoming.
Ulverston is one of our favourite Places to visit when on holiday in the lake District. We always spend some time in the Market Hall & enjoy the experience of being sheltered if raining. However for the very first time( due to Covid restrictions) we found it upsetting to see that many stalls were covered up.Not the traders fault, purely a safety issue. The stalls that were open were ran by friendly owners as usual and we do hope that it gets back to it's full strength asap.
Dont miss Blackledges and the bakery stall. The lady on the sweet stall is lovely, as is the pet food stall and the guy with the collectables. It's well worth a visit.
Nice little Market with plenty of good quality stalls. Welcoming environment
It's a dive still in the 19th century
