Staff were very accommodating, even when we changed our booking twice! The food was hot and tasty. We were pleased with the value for money. Dog friendly in the bar area.

Good Friday night dinner spot! The place is vibey, even during Covid times, in neat decor and never ending dining, pub and terrace area. We had the flat iron steak dish and burger. Chips were amazing and all of them well cooked. Steak was tasty. The burger could have done with a few pickles or sauce, but all good still! Sticky toffee pudding was lovely, with a generous serving of toffee and ice cream. Definitely a good spot to visit if you’re in the area!
Good food not bad price for a meal. Lovely atmoshy
Amazing service. This is a late review we ate here in August as we're on holiday. Staff did everything to ensure they could fit us in, they stated they wanted to make sure we had a good holiday. The food was on point and the staff did everything to accommodate vegans. We ate here twice in a week. What stood out compared to other places was staff were friendly, accommodating and culturally comfortable with mixed ethnicity we felt very comfortable and welcome. It really did mean a lot as we didn't get that feel other places we visited. Your staff are an absolute credit to you. This also turned out to be the last meal with our nan as on return she passed away from old age and when we were home we did our best to recreated the vegan boards we had. We really can't thank you all enough.
Great atmosphere and really nice cocktail menu.
Great Sunday Lunch for our family bubble. Superb service, delicious food and great ambiance. Would highly recommend.
Lovely environment, with a really super range across the menu. The food was cooked just right, great choice of draft beers from the local brewery, staff are friendly, helpful and polite. Couldn't want for anything more from this pub in a superb location. Pictures are from the nearby monument (pub involves no climbing though)
Delicious Sunday Roast and a pretty old brick building. Pub also appeared to have a roof top which wasn’t open when we visited. Some picnics benches out front was a great spot to have a drink and watch the town pass by.
