I love being able to see my man, driving 5 hours to do it really sucks. It is a cold, drab setting and if reality hasn’t set in by the time you get through the regular security, it will when you start going through gates and see razor wire, but for sure when you hear the big steel doors slam shut!! The visiting guards are for the most part polite and friendly even a touch playful at times!! The visiting hours are accommodating and adequate. They offer photo tickets for 2 to have your picture taken with your loved one that you’ll get before you leave. Make sure if you need to have any medication with you during the visit, it is clearly labeled with Rx. It has to stay at the desk while you are with your inmate. And ladies, if you have tears when your walking away, don’t look back cause they’re watching you!!

After 15 year incarcerated there, I am so glad to not be a resident anymore. Most staff were highly professional, but medical staff were petty, cruel, and deliberately caused the most infirm to suffer even more at their hands. May God have mercy on their souls, for I know the Feds won't.

After being locked up there for a year for pot witch is now legal. They wasted thousands of dollars incarcerating me. Oregon prison system is a joke. This place sucks.
