Absolutely wonderful food, tasty and full of flavour! Great service and friendly staff. The portion sizes are generous and filling. I’ve been eating here for years and don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

We had several dishes for our St. Valentine's day meal before these final mains, all of them but my Donburi Eel (pictured) DELICIOUS! *that point in itself, not enough to mark it down from five stars though The establishment is cozy and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend if ever you're venturing in to Middlesbrough.
Not the best of takeaways. The food was very basic, dry with not a great deal of taste. Starters out of a packet and expensive for what it was. A microwave meal would have been better and cheaper. Sorry I don’t normally review places but this was not great. Sorry Umis
I love this place! The food is delicious everytime and the staff are so friendly. The sushi is outstanding everytime, I would recommend Umi's to everyone
