Dr. Johnson is the PCP on my insurance card. My blood pressure is high at 161/101 & 142/90 taken 5 minutes later. I called the office early yesterday to try and make an appointment (a prompt said they are experiencing high volume of calls and to leave a message). I left multiple messages and did the same thing today... only to get the same outcome. In total, I called 7 times and left 3 messages within a day and a half. Noone called me back. So i decided to ride my bike (in the pouring rain) to the office. The waiting room was empty, there were multiple girls sitting at the front desk doing absolutely nothing. After looking at me like I had 10 heads, the girl slides the glass window open (didnt even greet me) and said that they are not accepting any new patients at this time and told me to go to an urgent care. #1 if you arent accepting new patients maybe update the telephone prompt to reflect that #2 answer the phone. #3 check the messages and return calls. I cant speak on the Dr, only the staff. 10 times out of 10 - its a reflection of leadership. leadership being the Dr. Not good. Disgusting actually. I am not the type of person to be confrontational or even leave reviews.. but after going through what i just went through and witnessing it with my own eyes i felt the STRONG URGE to leave this review. This review is from a 35 year old father of two little girls, who also served this country. Clean up your act.

You can go there an hr early and still wait for hrs,a Doctor's visit shouldn't take almost 3hrs,when you call they don't return your phone call til 3/4 days later,when they do return your phone call,they leave a message to call the Doctor back...huh,the staff are the worst,the sad part,will you complain to Dr. Johnson she knows nothing about your phone call,she needs to get her Office together...Not please at All
Dr. Johnson is a wonderful doctor - but her office staff is just awful. They don't return calls or are responsive at all. They are not rude and not professional in how they act or respond. No one knows what they are doing. It's so difficult after years to leave her practice, but enough is enough. You also wait at least 1 - 2 hours for any appointment. I encourage you to find someone else.
Been going to her for over 5 years. She's absolutely wonderful. She's kind and she takes her time making sure she answers all of your questions and concerns.
