UUI is an incredibly welcoming congregation. Jamie Hinson-Rieger is the best speaker from the \pulpit\ I have ever heard and I have heard many (Catholic, Episcopal, other UU). The service is meaningful and challenging from start to finish...beautiful music, great readings, etc...a true liberal religion. The congregation is growing...a wide variety of beliefs among congregants, ranging from atheists to believers..many are professionals seeking a congregation they can connect with...increasing number of young people. All are welcome. The religious ed program for youth appears to outstanding (I don't have anyone in that program but it parallels the theme for the service each week). Looking for a socially aware, challenging experience, then give UUI a try.
