This place is so frustrating. Came here a few times on recommendation from a friend and received service at good value but not coming after my last experience. Came in with a check engine light and without telling me they gave me an oil change that I did not need (had it done a month before and I don't drive much). Got into an argument with Vartan about it who wouldn't reverse the charge. How easy is it to just pick up the phone and ask your customer for consent? This business doesn't know how to communicate. Side note, I had a problem with my car for weeks that they could not figure out. Took it to another mechanic and he was actually able to fix it so it's not like these are the best mechanics in LA.

Joe and his mechanic are life savers! Our Hyundai XG350 had been given a death notice by the DEALER. We had just one car and now nothing according to the dealer. They offered us 400 dollars for it \as is\. Instead we towed the Hyundai to Joe at United. Joe had the opportunity to sell us another car and make a decent profit from the total transaction. When he began inspecting our Hyundai his diagnosis was much different. He changed the oil, the filter and perhaps adjusted the timing and 80. later our car is running better than ever. He even had it washed inside and out at the carwash before delivering it back to us. HONEST JOE! That is his new nick name. May sound corny, but I grew up in an auto shop with one of the best/most honest mechanics ever (my dad Art Mooney) and Joe is much the same. THANK YOU JOE!!!

Had an oil leak on the car. They told me it was an expensive hire pressure hose and charged 500 for the repair. Turns out they lied, it was a low pressure hose, that cost 45!Found out a couple on months later when another mechanic had the car up on the hoist. This place should be avoided. Very immoral. Hope they go out of business.
