Bristol Glen is a wonderful place for your family member. My mother has been residing there for the past two plus years. The staff are all very professional, compassionate and caring. There is excellent communication with families. During the craziness of the Covid Pandemic the director, Jeff Lisk, navigated the changing protocols from the Department of Health with precision in efforts to maintain health and safety for all the residents. He also instituted a weekly ZOOM meeting for any and all concerned family members. I wholeheartedly recommend Bristol Glen. It is a fantastic place!

Location is nice, grounds are OK, building is pretty (however there is currently construction taking place which can cause issues at times). Most workers were nice, including the rehab facility. However, did not like some of the staff in physical therapy, rehab facility released my mom too soon! Very short staffed (which leads to over worked/frustrated staff and lack of response when needed), food was OK most of the time, they do not communicate well with resident's guardians or themselves, they screwed up on billing multiple times, and they do not listen well to your needs or concerns. My mother has been in and out of hospitals and facilities for 2.5 years, I am becoming a pro at reviews.

My brother was ambulanced out after he wandered out of his room. They understood he had dementia when he was accepted there and had a higher level of needs. They sent him to Newton Hospital ER and was barred from returning to Bristol Glen. Worse than this our family was not notified of this awful treatment by the personnel at Bristol Glen. We found after he was then sent to Chilton Hospital ER in Pompton Lakes. The ER nurse called us to tell us he was there. Treatment like this ought to be illegal and the institution fined for elder abuse.
