Belle Basnight

The leasing office and maintenance staff are so friendly and quick to take care of any concerns. I have never seen any rodents or bugs inside beyond an occasional moth or mosquito, something uncommon in this area after talking to other people. I never have trouble finding parking either. It's very affordable compared to other apartments in the area, and conveniently located half a mile from campus. It also has a bus stop. It is pet friendly too!

We lived in the University Apartment during our first year in Chapel Hill. My husband goes to UNC, so this apartment is super close to the campus and also downtown. There are many event in the downtown during the weekend and usually no buses running, but you can just walk for 8-10 minutes from here. We loved our room with the balcony that is just nice to sit and relax. The staffs are super nice, helpful and work quickly. Too bad we had to move since we have a kid and needed a bigger space. Definitely recommend this apartment especially if you are single or with partner.

The experience I living here is fair for the rent. Pros: closed to the campus and Franklin Street. The managers and staffs are super helpful and friendly. The parking lot is guaranteed. Cons: the building is too old and the wall is so thin that I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone loudly at the midnight and I could not sleep. The bedroom is closed tightly that the cold air from AC could not come in and it made bedroom hot in the summer. The dryers are old and out of service frequently.

I lived there for one year but I was not satisfied with this APT. I was in 1st floor and I was charged 300 strictly and they do not negotiate with me. And friend of mine also leaves here with 800 ridiculous charge. 1st is so smelly and Liz does not have a good attitude. Location is good but it is very noisy. Every weekend there is a party until 2am!!! I could not sleep well. Now I moved to a quite place with full of sunshine every sunny day.

I live here right now and I really love my apartment! I find that I am able to keep my apartment super tidy and clean despite most of the other reviews. The people are very nice and try their best to help with any issues. I would definitely recommend. They are very understanding and great people to have as management. I love my space!!
