My wife is a patient, people care about patients and do what they can. U of MD as a hospital system doesn't impress me much any more. All about the money more than anything else. They are a for profit institution owned by a State funded University. I'm sure administrators are getting to bring home a nice chunk of change at patient and staff expense.

UMMC is a level 1 Trauma facility. There patients are shown medicine in excellence with hunbling caring nursing staff.
