My daughter is an incoming transfer student and moved into Phase 6 January 15, 2021. There have been problems with the unit since day 1. Upon move-in, the refrigerator was not working and appeared to have been out for several weeks to months. There was old food in the refrigerator and freezer so when we opened it the smell of rotten food took over the entire apartment. There was old trash left behind from the previous residents which contained what appeared to be a million gnats. The trash had been there for so long that gnats had made it all the way to my daughter's room/bathroom. After I spent hours cleaning and disinfecting the unit, we moved my daughter in. Of note..the microwave also did not work and the toilet did not flush properly. On 1/20/21 maintenance came and repaired the refrigerator and microwave but the toilet is still not working properly as of today. On 1/22/21 my daughter came home for the weekend with several bites all over her body. After inspecting her room, we found a huge stain and bedbug residue on the bottom of the mattress, along with several live bedbugs crawling around the mattress and bed frame. My daughter is now back home in Houston until the mattress is replaced. We are beyond frustrated with the conditions of her unit. I guess you get what you pay for

When I needed assistance, Mrs.Caesar was very attentive to my needs regardless of how much she had on her plate. Her and the staff present were very understanding and communicative as they took care of me throughout the process of moving into my new apartment. I thank everyone for their dedication toward the satisfaction of their residents.

University Village is the most comfortable, safe, and study friendly environment. The staff here is really nice and they attend to your needs as fast as possible. Maintenance responds to your housing issue as fast as possible. The apartment are very spacious and beautiful inside. I will personally recommend anyone to apply and secure their spots at university village because they won’t regret it.

I live in Phase 2. I was a little skeptical at first but it was honestly really quiet. My CA never failed to keep us up to speed on all the events going on within the community. If we ever needed anything extra she was our go to. Pretty satisfied living here. Keep it up!

Live in phase 3 and for the most part I enjoy it. It’s pretty quiet and nobody bothers one another. It’s literally like living in an apartment because of the layout. But because it’s so full, often times it’s hard to be able to park by your building, but it’s still better being able to park within distance rather than having to go to a whole parking lot like the other housing! I wouldn’t mind staying here next school year ... if I COULD, but due to housing crisis....
