Nice location and amazing views. However , the food is only 1*. Service 2* . The cheese platter was so dry. The meat was undercooked. One main course for our guest never arrived. The stuff doesn't speak much English either. Gluhwine was not drinkable. Poor experience in general !
Modern new building on the top of the hill. A bit industrial design, but with a lovely enterieur. Foods are based on local ingredients and finally, pommes is not the boring frozen one, but made of real potatoes :) prices are normal according to the top-of-the-hill restaurant and the quality is good. And the view... really worth to see it.
Great skiing when the weather is clear - when overcast the clouds off the lake make visibility very poor. Great hiking in the summer. Kids have enjoyed ski camp there for 2 years, fantastic instructors. Restaurants are very good, sledging is fun as well! Our favorite “local” skiing spot!

The architecture and design of the building on Chäserrugg is absolutely gorgeous and the views and hikes from there amazing and it's highly recommended to hike or take the Gondola up there. However, the food at the restaurant wasn't really anything special. CHF 20.00 for an overcooked and small portion of \Chässpätzli\ was way too pricy. Tipp: If you take the Gondola up there you stop at Iltios and the food there is better and cheaper.
