I came to grab a takeaway coffee, unfortunately we walked out before even ordering after we heard the way one of the staff members was talking to another. I am not sure whether it was the owner or manager, but one man was being extremely rude to another gentleman who seemed to be in training. They were clearly busy and we were more than happy to wait so that was absolutely not an issue, however, we just didn't feel comfortable ordering from someone who thought it was appropriate to speak to another staff member in this way, whether it was in front of us or not. Very very rude and the owners should really be embarrassed of this behavior. It's a shame, as it looks lovely inside, however it is far more important to me to know that I am supporting a business where staff are treated with dignity and respect, and I can't say that about Vintage 51.

Breakfast was amazing and undoubtedly the best start to the morning! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere relaxed. Enjoyed everything about this place and will definitely be back soon.

We have been 3 times now each on a Saturday and have had a great experience each time. Hot chocolate and latte are both fab and good drinking temperature. We had a cream cheese and salmon bagel this week and this was delicious. The customer service is great and the owner is very friendly. Happy to keep coming back each week!

If this had a no star rating I would be rating it no star. Me and my partner thought we’d go on a cute little coffee date to find out they can’t even make coffee. Staff are literally all over the place. There were about 5 staff behind the counter just absolutely clueless to what they was even doing, they didn’t even no how to work the till or take orders properly. Brownies were dryer than my nans foot. I asked for an ice latte with 1 sugar. The little man served up the latte with 1 sugar on the side bearing in mind your suppose to put the sugar in the coffee while it was hot to let it dissolve. I was honestly so shocked and discussed. The place itself was just very bizarre. Won’t be seeing my face again!

Walked out of the coffee shop today after hearing the way the man behind the counter spoke to someone who looks as if he was training. If that was me, I would NEVER have let someone speak to me in the utter disrespectful and over reactive way that this man did. “Dont touch my stuff” “make the shot NOW” “NO you are wrong”. They way he acted was childish. I believe that the manager was sat there also listening to this, which made the situation even worse. I hope the man who was trying to learn reads this and know he is a lot better and kinder than the person who I guess was training him. I will not be going back and also letting people know that this is how this establishment treats it employees.

Very stylish independent coffee shop with a quirky interior. Doing take out at the moment so will be able to fully enjoy the ambience in the near future.
