I'm not going to lie, I was kind of nervous to be seen here given some of the bad reviews, but I had a very good experience with Upstate Dermatology. The front desk staff were nice and professional, the techs were very sweet, and the NP I saw was helpful and easy to talk to. I just want to counter some of the bad reviews because I had a very pleasant experience, and will be continuing my derm care here!

Excellent experience. I am 36 weeks pregnant and recently diagnosed with melanoma. Staff and Dr. Raj have been excellent in getting me proper care and treatment in a very quick time frame and have been extremely accommodating.

I hav the skin tag I went over there to see a doctor. And ai told me you had to pay 175 only to see doctor’ after 700 We’re going to send a bill home. for skin tag with inshurenc I hope some on see that

The staff at Upstate is fine, however their policies are not. They started charging everyone a 125 co-pay not too long ago because patients were not paying their bills timely. So let's punish everyone. Then I have been receiving multiple bills stating I owed money though it had been shown it had been paid and discussed with the billing staff who kept insisting it wasn't. I go to my appointment the other day and they refused to see me because the bill wasn't paid. I tried to show them it was but to no avail. I have been a long time patient and have never stiffed on paying my bill. Seems like money is more important to them than patient care. Make sure you pay your bill or you will be turned away at the window. We will NEVER go here again.
