I have been here a few times before the pandemic. My first time, the food was good, had large portions, and a very nice salsa selection was available. Since then, they raised the prices, reduced the menu options, made the portion sizes smaller, and took away all the great salsas. Food is still tasty though and I continue to be a customer, but just not as frequently.

The Official Website and this Google Map page falsely advertises the business hours. I arrived yesterday (2020-09-27) at 9:04 to find this sign blocking the entrance. I ran inside anyway and politely asked them if even though the last order is finished, could they still do takeaway? But they just apologised that there was nothing they could do. Well, perhaps they could advertise their true business hours online, that’s one thing they can do. So I amended this Google Map’s page’s business hours. My suggested edits were approved yesterday by Google yesterday. Today they’ve been reverted back, falsely, to 10pm. I don’t know why the business wants to deceive the internet that it’s open for an hour longer than it really is, but BEWARE! Make sure you get to this restaurant no later than 90 minutes before the advertised closing time. You must arrive and order no later than 8:59pm, because they will not serve you otherwise. The place was difficult to find on account of it not being on any of the shopping centre’s many maps. It’s deep in the shopping centre, past a Disney shop and basically within the cinema complex.

Located in the cinema area of Ikspiari, a few minutes walk from Maihama station, this is one of the few Mexican restaurant chains that operate in Japan (there are 4 shops in the Tokyo area). The menu is limited, but offers Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas etc. Prices are a bit high, but the large size burrito was filling and being able to choose your toppings is nice. Served with a side of chips (French fries) and toppings I paid just under 2,000 yen (at time of writing) and would happily eat here again. Staff were professional and courteous, and the seating area was clean and bright. Table and counter seating is available, and soft and alcoholic drinks are on the menu (beer/ margarita/ Corona extra). Due to the location, clientele is mainly families with children and young people, and there is no smoking in the restaurant.

Ordered enchiladas and tacos which were so good! It was a large portion of enchiladas with guacamole, sour cream and spicy beef. I thought it was a bit expensive for fast food, but it’s totally worth it. I’ll definitely be back to try carnitas on my next visit.
