2018まで、レッドブルエアレースの離発着場でした。 2019のレースは木更津となり、さらにはレース自体がその後は開催中止となっています。 ホテルが建ったので、今後飛行場として利用される事は無いでしょう。 （2018は主催者がホテルを借り切り、無人にしてなんとか開催したけど）
