Friendly owners and staff. Nice assortment of drinks and food, both prepared and "to order". Inside and outside seating. Great place to end your run or walk around Greenlake!

At 2pm on a Monday. After 25 miles bicycle ride we stopped for a Light lunch. We split a Chicken Curry sandwich on sourdough and a cup of Beef & Barley soup and I My friend ordered a Dopio Coffee. I am not a sandwich guy, BUT I Love the Chicken Curry the Bakery is Really clean, the service was top shelf, unisex bathrooms. Seating outside on a sunny afternoon . Parking is on the streets.

I moved to the Green Lake and the Cafe Urban Bakery quickly became my favorite place for getting coffee, amazing pastries, and lunch. The outside seat is great and you can take your lunch to Green Lake. The owners and staff are always friendly and the location is great.

I had an excellent sandwich with avocado... There was avocado in every bite... Not just a smidge but a good amount! I Will return for many more yummy sandwiches!!

Love this place! Good coffee and tasty, simple breakfast sandwiches (egg, sausage, cheddar is my go-to) at a fair price. I stop in here on my weekly Friday morning walks. The owners are friendly. We gave this place the nickname of Old Peoples Cafe because there are usually groups of cute, elderly people. A Green Lake treasure!

A friend and I stopped by Urban Bakery yesterday after walking around Green Lake. The place was clean, there were not many people (1 pm on a Friday afternoon), there was plenty of spaced out seating outside, and luckily, the weather was perfect (sunny and not too cold). It was a great day for a latte! I was not paying, and I asked my friend to order me a tall latte substituting Hemp milk. I have had some really fantastic Hemp milk lattes in Seattle in the past few months, on the rare occasions that I actually ventured out and had a coffee with a friend due to covid. Unfortunately, the hemp milk latte yesterday from Urban Bakery was pretty terrible! Because I did not pay for it, my friend and I were having a great conversation, the atmosphere was a perfect, and I had my dog, I did not want to spoil the mood to ask for another. However, I should have let the barista know that the latte was not good, at all. I owe my friend that paid a coffee from a different cafe. Probably a different barista may make a better latte, but because I go so infrequently to Green Lake, I may not have the opportunity to try Urban Bakery again anytime soon. I'm giving 2 stars because the barista was very friendly and the place was very clean.

Great spot with good, simple breakfast sandwiches and delicious coffee. Perfect for a pre/post-Greenlake coffee/snack. Friendly service.
