Very clean office, friendly staff, and all my questions answered directly and with sound explanation. Liz was especially very helpful. Liz even took a moment to suggest some places to see around the area since we drove quite the distance to come here. Really made this trip so much better. Can't wait to come back to a place that treats you like a human being, and not a patient number.

I am an 80% service connected disabled veteran that is an old paratrooper. As such the VA is supposed to cover my healthcare. I went to the Urbana Hanger store to get a pair of required orthotic shoes and was told that the VA would cover them as the VA had authorized me to have the shoes. Apparently Hanger was unable to collect the money from the VA so without contacting me sent the debt to collections. The debt collection agency called me three times in one day without leaving a message. I called them back and they proceeded to tell me that I could not skip out of my debts because I was a disabled veteran, that the VA did not have to pay for my shoes (for my disability) - essentially yelling at me for being a disabled veteran and not giving me a chance to explain. I was horrified with the treatment and felt ashamed. I hardly ever write reviews but had to warn my fellow vets of the shoddy business practices. I have never felt so bad about my disabilities and shocked by the lack of respect from a place that supposedly caters to the disabled. I am paying the bill in person once I receive the first bill so I do not have to be humiliated again.
