Wow! I can't say enough nice things about these movers. They were incredibly friendly and such hard workers. We were on a tight schedule and had everything broken down (besides our treadmill) along with most of the boxes in the garage. They took care to pack the truck efficiently and effectively while ensuring our furniture was covered to avoid damage. I highly recommend using them for your moving needs. Please note they offer only the actual moving service and do not provide the truck.

Recently moved and used their service. I can't recommend Iowa Moving 1 enough. The two individuals that moved us were polite, careful with our belongings, and very professional. They were on time and worked extremely quickly. If we ever move again, they will get my repeat business.
If you want tardy, overpriced service for one and half movers, then use these guys. The movers showed up an hour and half after the appointment window, one guy did most of the work, but I had to pay for two. Dont recommend.
I am updating my review because the owner, Eric, is very responsive to our concerns. The first time we used this company 3 years ago, we had a very good experience. We used them again last month and had a poor experience. But Eric told us about the corrective measures he took and he genuinely felt very bad for our experience. He offered to make things right by coming back and moving a large item that the original crew did not do. Because Eric went above and beyond we feel good about this experience now. He is very sincere as a small business owner in making things right . We very much appreciate that!
