We had a sun room installed 4 years ago. From the first month installed it leaked when it rained. Paulo came out and just calked the roof and thought that would fix it. It still leaked. Then my husband used a special paint to seal leaks. It still leaked. I called a roofing company and they said that US Aluminum didn't attach the sun room to the original roof correctly. I finally had enough and paid 1100 to the roofer to fix it and never could get it fixed by US Aluminum. My neighbor also had a new screen room put up where her old one was and it leaks. She calked all over and maybe it will hold up or maybe she also has the same problem.

I had a screened porch added to my property January, 2013. I had to fight every step of the way. It took three inspection failures before the form for the concrete pad passed. It was a good thing for me that the inspector took his job seriously. Once the concrete was poured, it had a rough finish. It was supposed to have a smooth finish so it could be walked on with your bare feet and crawled on by a baby. I solved this problem by putting down tile. (I purchased the tile, they installed it) Now comes the worst problem of all. The roof has leaked ever since they installed it. We had very little rain from the time it was installed to May. It leaked the first time we had any measurable amount of rain and wind. I called the office and they told me they would have someone call back to schedule a time to come out and look at it. I never got a call back. I called Paulo Lopes, the General Manager who wrote my contract and he assured me that someone would be out and fix the problem. No one called, but someone did show up and they said the installers did not put up any flashing where the newly installed roof was attached to the existing roof line. This flashing is the only way to prevent rain water from entering the ceiling panels. They said they did not have any flashing, but they would take measurements and come back the next day and install the flashing. I have not seen anyone since that day. I talked to someone at the office again a few days ago and they said that someone will come out and fix my leak. I will believe that when I see it. They give you a two year warranty. Maybe they a waiting for the two years to be up and then they will have no responsibility to fix the leak. If you decide to do business with this company, be careful and good luck.
