Early morning hours are the best for appointment. Energetic staff, very less crowd, super fast service. I have been here twice and I found the early morning appointment much comfortable than the afternoon/evening.

Energetic and Decent staff. No hurdle absolutely. I had reached the place well before my scheduled appointment and the staff checked if I am ok to get it done right away. I said ok and within 5 mins I have completed my biometric stuff. Parking is not there but try to go early and park on the road which is absolutely no problem. Baggage counter is there with paid service which is an advantage. Chill and all the best for you.

Very unsafe place to stand in queue in midst of unclean environment.....there is heavy traffic near the entrance make it unsafe .. There is no distinct queue marked enabling a illiterate security to scream at applicants ....the security staff at narrow entrance is highly impolite, rude and harsh destroying the joy of the applicant in appearing for Visa....do we deserve this impolite ness from your security staff

As you can see from the photograph,it is situated in a narrow street, with no parking facilities for the applicants. Even though the address is Kodambakkam high Rd., The entrance is from a narrow street parallel to main road, back side of the building. There's no waiting area for those accompanying the kids, elderly and women. Even though the service is good, the infrastructure provided is inadequate. Needs improvement.

A very systematic and constructive US Visa application centre. Just come here as per time mentioned on the appointment confirmation page or maximum 10 mins early, or else you'll have to wait outside the building because the security will only allow people inside as per their appointment times. And once inside, the entire process is very fast and the whole verification, biometric scanning and photo session is completed in about 15-20 minutes. Carry your documents in a transparent folder and have your phone switched off inside the building. It's best to have your return journey arranged beforehand because the auto drivers here will definitely charge you more than twice the actual charge.

Had my biometric appointment at 9am today. Got there at 8:25 and the security guy let me in anyway. Seemed like it was a little slow...no lines waiting outside. 2 checks on paperwork and 1 security check before reaching the counter section. Photo...finger printing and was out the door by 8:35! Only needed my DS 160 confirmation form, visa appointment letter and passport! Very efficient and everyone was polite!

Located in a narrow street near to main road. Mobile phones are allowed inside the office. No parking space for 2W or 4W. There is a paid private locker facility and Xerox shop in the ground floor. Bring ample water, there are small eateries and tea stall outside the office. If you are here in your car, park it behind the street near Valluvar kottam.
