1 I had my apt with Dr. Haggard. When I brought up a concern about my eye exam he kinda laughed at me and then completely ignored my question. He was done with my exam in less than 5 minutes. Being quick can be good but I felt he wasn't thorough and didn't really care about the results of my eye exam especially since he ignored my concern. 2 I had a special eye scan completed. I asked how much it would cost me through my insurance. They couldn't give me an answer. They said they would call me with the results. I haven't heard back from them but, of course, I've received the bill already. Why do we allow health care companies to behave this way? To ignore us, make us wait hours for appointments, not know about their own prices until after the exam/scan/treatment is billed, to quickly push us through their system with no sense of care for our health, and then to never provide the service they want us to pay for. In what other industry do we accept this behavior? I'm disappointed, but honestly this doesn't surprise me. This is just another sign our health care system is broken.

I've been wanting to get LASIK for years but honestly have been too nervous to dive in. I went in for a consultation a few months ago and felt totally at ease. Got LASIK yesterday and it's been a game changer. I was in and out in under 30 minutes with each eye taking less than a minute for the actual procedure. Dr. Gardiner and his team are top notch and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. Highly recommend going to Dr. Gardiner and his team!

Went to Dr. Bird for my first eye exam ever. It was a great visit. Dr. Bird actually took the time to listen and explain things. I was also able to get my glasses there as well. Lisa and all the ladies working there were so nice and took all the time I needed to get the right look and glasses for me. My whole family goes here now. Great care and service

I have been a patient of Dr. Christine Dunn for 18 years with my whole family and she has been so personable and professional, and she knows and remembers all of us and she provides the best in eye care, anywhere. We also have been impressed in the Staff at UVEC. They take very good care to meet our needs quickly, economically, and professionally. They are at the top of our list of Health Care providers.

Dr. Lloyd is the best. He is caring and sensitive and adds a light hearted atmosphere with his sense of humor. Over last 4 years he has completed 2 cataract surgeries on me. He was great to make sure I knew what was going to happen and what to expect. Having been a Type 1 Diabetic for over 42 years, I have been too a lot of doctors and Dr Lloyd is one of best (if not my favorite).
