Two stars because I am gracious and know what it's like to work in retail. (and there's a pandemic) I looked online for a Meijer location that had a certain DVD player. This location claimed to have it. When I got there the shelf had no such DVD player. I asked a department associate about the item and the stated online inventory, and she just shrugged and said that what they had out there was all they had. I purchased this other one on clearance instead. The outside of the box was a bit damaged. I was skeptical and asked the cashier if I could return it if it wasn't working. She said they would take it back if that was the case. I got it home to find that it had DEFINITELY been used, and was missing the video cable. I called up to the store and asked why I was paying money for an incomplete product that was useless without the video cable. The customer service rep told me that all they could do was process a return. They could have offered me another video cable or some sort of store credit to purchase a cable from their electronics department. Or maybe even to find another one in stock at a different location and have it transferred to this one for pickup. Nope. So I went online and ordered the same exact player from a different store chain altogether to be shipped to my home for five dollars cheaper than the clearance price of this one. I will be returning this item. I don't often shop at this location, but each time I do it seems rather disorganized and low on, or out of, stock - pandemic or no pandemic.

Many people not wearing masks. The staff was told not to say anything. Whitmer, you forced restaurants to close, fined them, but somehow places like these you dont care

Every time I come to this Meijer there is a very long line. No matter what day of the week or time of the day. None of the other Meijer stores in the area are like this. If I wanted to stand in a ridiculously long line to check out my own items for free, I would go to Wal-Mart. Call me crazy, but self checkouts were supposed to be for fast checkout and convenience. Now I just feel like a chump who likes to moonlight as a cashier AND stand in line forever for free.
Isles are always nice and clean staff is very nice.
