Looking a little dated now. Went for some spa treatments with friends. No drinks or eats offered. No lights turned on as it got dark. And it was Christmas...you'd never have known. Needs more attention paid to spa customers, probably wont go again unless we hear its brightened things up a bit. Shame as its been good in the past

Don't waste your time or money.I had a spa experience day booked and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I was informed that the pool area was shut and later found out it was due to legionnaires. My spa "day" took all of 1hr & 5mins. The treatment room is dated, cool, thin towels not warmed. The products were awful and there wasn't any nice smells. My manicure was very basic I could have done a better job. My nails have been left ragged and rough edges. My lunch !! served at 11.10am !! no section of teas, the one I was given the bag was broken. Coffee came in a dirty pot. I spoke to the manager but he wasn't really interested. He told me the sauna was open but by then it was too late the day was ruined. I was supposed to get a day pass for the pool etc. but I really wouldn't want to go back. If I could leave the stars empty I would not even worth 1 sta

Really wonderful spa. They have outdoor and indoor facilities. Staff are wonderful and make your visit very special. The massages are always amazing, the food always a good quality, and the facilities are always clean. In the summer, you can use the outside pool and jacuzzi, or lounge around on their comfy seatings. It's a slice of heaven away from the chaos of life. They always offer amazing deals and packages on their website which is also a plus as Spa Days can feel pricey sometimes. However, you get amazing quality with this business.

Very friendly and nice staff, very welcoming and helpful. We went using the morning mellow deal which is a great value. The hotel is a bit dated and was quite quiet, but it didn't stop us from having a nice time. The cream tea was lovely (although the scones not warm) and they had tea and coffee for us, and even got some orange juice for my hubby who doesn't like hot drinks. The change rooms are a little bit grobby, but the pool and jacuzzi clean and enjoyable (as were both saunas). Our massages were relaxing, and in lovely rooms with heated beds and with a very pleasant massage therapist. Well worth a visit!

Staff polite, respectful and knowledgeable , lunch plentiful and delicious, treatments were wonderful and relaxing. However, outside area still under refurbishment. As for glass shelving units in reception area filled with tat and cheap rubbish. GET RID!! Definitely brings the tone of the establishment down. It looks tacky and cheap.

Was expecting the current refurbishments to be completed since last visiting hotel, unfortunately they weren't. So can't comment on changes to outside facilities. Was hoping they would do more to the spa area. Although there are now hairdryers in the two changing rooms whereas before there were none. Could still do with some TLC .....
