The taste and quantity of food is good. No complain at all. However, the service is not so good. We ordered pancakes and drinks as desert and asked them to bring the desert right after we finished the main dish. After 5 mins the drinks arrived but pancakes never did. After waiting for around 15 mins, I tried to remind them about our pancakes and the waitress understood. But still no pancake arrived. We were trying to become polite costumers. I am just watching them working from my table and at one of the waitress (I think the one who took our order), saw me watching them and check their ordering gadget. After that she came and apologized that the pancakes will be out right away. It seemed that they just start to make our pancakes that moment. Maybe around 45 mins after asking for the desert, finally the pancakes arrived and no compensation offered. (Not clear if compensation of bad service is common in Japan) Seems like they need to improve their work management. Too bad because the foods are good but bad service let them down.

Pancake factory in Utsunomiya was a great experience! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. And a few of the staff speak respectable English.
