A tiny onsen (hot spring) in Utsunomiya. It is a no frill 600 (for adult) onsen mostly frequent by the locals with a majority of the older customers. There separate male and female changing rooms and spa areas as one expected. However there is only one spa pool. It is though decorated with lots of love flowers and plants. The changing room is small and you will need a 100 coin to lock your locker (the 100 is refundable though). There is also a dining and relax area. The food price is reasonable and not too expensive.

Can you enjoy an outdoor hot spring for only 500? Yes you can! Little difficult to find and the staff don't speak English but it's worth it coming here. Vending machine sells entrance tickets and there's another machine to break down big notes if you don't have 100 yen coin for the locker. It's a small place, men's side had five washing stations, but the pool is pretty big. It's not fully outdoors, as a tall fence ensures your privacy, but you can see the sky and feel the breeze. Oh and the ancient scale told me that I've lost like ten kilo's so that's great news!

宇都宮市街から近いのに「源泉かけ流し」。。お湯の質はとてもキレイで良いです。食事の種類も多い！ ムスメに連られてラーメン食べてしまったけど定食類も美味しそう！！ また行きます。
600円の入浴料で休憩室との行き来ができ、さらに外出して再度入浴もOKとの良心的なシステムです。要は１日600円で何度も入れるということです。 脱衣場から露天風呂のみのコンパクトな設計ですが、洗い場にはシャンプー、ボディソープ完備。お湯は比較的温めな温度設定で長く浸かって居られます。 食堂も併設されており、地域の野菜の天ぷらや舞茸ご飯が安価で販売されてました。地元の方とも少しお話させてもらいましたが、地域に根差した暖かい日帰り風呂だと感じました。
源泉掛け流しの露天風呂はとても素敵です。料金600円で食堂もメニューたくさんあり。薪ストーブの炎を眺めながらビール飲んでまったりしてまたお風呂へ入れます。喜多方ラーメン美味しかったんだけどスープがぬるかった。改善期待です。今回はレンタカー利用でしたが次はバスで行って半日リラックスしたいです。
お店の方が良く気が利く方で、かなり好印象です。 浴槽や洗い場が小さい為、入場制限しながら営業しています。ご苦労だと思いますが、地元民に愛されている温泉のようなので、がんばって欲しいです。
