This is a great place for walking and hiking the loop trails. I do the east and west woodland trails for about a 4 mile loop. The side trails like Oscar offer a nice diversion around the West river. The only turn off is the amount of dog poop along the entrance road and along the dam. Folks need to clean up after their pets.

This has always been a great place to take the kids swimming. Now that the Town closed West Hill road, the beach entrance is closed. The main entrance is about a mile walk from the beach area now. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk, and the beach is now totally empty. If you feel like taking the family it's a very nice beach by the lake, but be prepared to walk.

Best place to walk peacefully on its trails. You can bike , run or just plain walk the dog. The Staff are polite and knowledgeable . Please protect this area again.

Great trails through both open and wooded areas. Place is very well maintained. Lots of dog walkers. Beach area nice for a little local swimming hole with grills, tables, park, etc
