Various cultural and political shows are hosted here. Even some magic shows and comedy nights are held here. This can be one of the oldest auditorium in the city. And the highlight here is Mahatma Gandhi's statue just outside the auditorium. And at some days many political parties and the citizens of vadodara choose this location for their protests against the government or local bodies.

A large and popular auditorium in Vadodara, with the capacity of 1000 audience. Sound quality, stage size, seating arrangements, cleanliness, services are good. The only negative point is lack of proper parking area. There is no specific parking area allotted.

Been to this place after many years. Actually after a decade or so but it helped recollect the old memories when we used to attend cultural and school functions. The times then we're very different from today when those were worry free times and the only thing in mind was to enjoy. This place mostly acts as providing a platform for drama/theatre, musical shows and now-a-days rare magic shows. This time also the experience was good. They have also upgraded the place. It is now air-conditioned with semi-push-back seats. This place is managed by local government but would say it is maintained nicely considering the situation of other government controlled places.
