VakaVa experience is definitely not cheap, which means that if you really want to enjoy the place including drinks and food you need to pay (100 per person) and that might not be bad if you are here to try decent food. Food is sort of south american inspired sushi (for some reason). I would definitely recommend chicken tacos, arepas for appetizers. Skip guacamole, not worth of money. Main meal beef cheeks and ribs were really good and desert, if you want to play safe, order churros. Drinks, I was mainly sticking to caperigna and was ok. Working hours are a bit strange ... Thursday to Saturday from 7pm, and then on Friday it starts earlier so that you can have brunch. Would I go there again ? Yes, maybe for breakfast and brunch.
Disrespectful place, they don’t respect our religion, it’s one of the rules here in the country to turn off music when the call for prayer starts, however staff were very rude and said that’s non of their business and kept the music on super loud. At least put it down a little bit to show respect. It made me so upset to hear the music while also hearing the prayer. I’m very disappointed management should do something about this cause we live in a Muslim country. Food was super expensive taste was not so bad I guess. I don’t think I’m ever coming here again because I wasn’t expecting an unpleasant experience such as this in my country. Very disappointed from hotel and restaurant.

Today, me, my mother, and 2 other guests that I invited went to VaKava! Everything at the restaurant was phenomenal! We ordered this huge seafood platter and it tasted amazing! We got a couple starters like the tacos which were mind blowing. However, the best part of VaKava was the staff, although all the staff were very friendly and professional, I would have to give most of our happy time to our waitress, Winnie Ramos. She was the reason why I had such a great time today, she came in with a happy attitude and truly makes you happy and enjoy your eating experience even more! She waited for us for us to get ready, which was around 10-15 minutes, and was just a wonderful person in general. She puts a smile on anyone’s face! I can truly go on for hours on how great of a person she is, and how she made our dining experience better, and would be the reason why I recommend going here with your friends. Thank you Misses Winnie Ramos for such a wonderful experience, you will be the reason why I will be coming back with loads of my friends. All in all, the food is jaw dropping and mouth watering, and the waiters and staff are truly phenomenal (thank you Winnie!).
Amazing experience, Its my first time and definitely I will come back! I was attended by Ailton, a very friendly waiter, who give me a wonderful costume service. I will always recommend to visit this place to my friends! Very light atmosphere and staff is very attentive, amazing food my favorite spot in Abu Dhabi
