As novice boaters we are so happy to have bought our first boat with Val Wyatt. They made the whole process easy and enjoyable. We had no experience at all and they helped us with all the technical detail as well as practical instruction on the river. The staff are super informative and helpful and made us feel that no question was too trivial or small to ask. Our Interboat Intender 760 is as beautiful as the marina itself and all the staff have made us feel welcome. Thank you Val Wyatt!

Val Wyatt is an excellent marina in a very pleasant part of the Thames. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We've moored here since buying our first boat, a new Dutch Intercruiser 27, in 2012. River boating was new to us but we were very happy with that boat, the service and the whole experience. So much so that last year we upgraded to a beautiful new Intercruiser 29. Same builder, same exceptional quality and same mooring. The whole purchasing process and after-care service has again been first class. Keep it up! 5 stars is well deserved!

This is a very pleasant place to visit. The marina has a super cafe directly on the river with beautiful views toward shiplake. It's got a large frontage with non slip decking. You can also sit inside. The menu is varied and not too expensive. We had a hot drink scone and gf flapjack for 12, which was delicious. There's limited parking which is an issue. We parked in the town and walked along the main road. There's also a good walk along to the river. We went on a Sunday around 330PM and there were only six other people there so it was nice and quiet. A great place.
