On moving to the south of the Netherlands our favourite bakery quickly became Bridge and Edo’s small local, family run business in the beautiful Valkenburg. They are not only friendly and welcoming, but they bake some of the best bread we had ever tasted, the muesli bread especially is a treat. On top of the bread Edo bakes the most delicious cakes and cookies, and if you are looking for authentic Limburg Vlaai, this is the place to go (sweetened with honey!). The calm, peaceful atmosphere is a truly wonderful break from the sometimes surprisingly hectic Valkenburg – and if you really want some tranquillity then I would highly recommend joining in one of Bridge’s yoga sessions on the weekdays. Bridge and Edo’s Vlaaienbakkerij & Belevingsplek is a favourite with locals and tourists alike and I have never had a disappointment from their service or baked goods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toen we naar het zuiden van Nederland verhuisden, werd onze favoriete bakkerij al snel Bridge en Edo's kleine lokale familiebedrijf in het prachtige Valkenburg. Ze zijn niet alleen vriendelijk en gastvrij, maar ze bakken ook het beste brood dat we ooit hebben geproefd, vooral het mueslibrood is een traktatie. Bovenop het brood bakt Edo de lekkerste taarten en koekjes, en als je op zoek bent naar authentiek Limburgs Vlaai, dan is dit de place to be (gezoet met honing!). De kalme, vredige sfeer is echt een geweldige onderbreking van het soms verrassend hectische Valkenburg - en als je echt wat rust wilt, dan zou ik je ten zeerste aanraden om deel te nemen aan een van Bridge's yogasessies op weekdagen. Vlaaienbakkerij & Belevingsplek van Bridge en Edo is favoriet bij zowel de lokale bevolking als toeristen en ik heb nog nooit een teleurstelling gehad over hun service of gebakken goederen.
A good piece of the Limburg pie called vlaai. The pudding crumble was great. a quiet little bakkery where you can enjoy a tea or coffee with vlaai.

Onlangs het paas ontbijt/brunch besteld. Hele goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Ook een nette prijs voor de kinderen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
Een lekkere kop cappuccino met vlaai. Veel vlaaikeuzes. Corona veilig geserveerd. Jammer dat de terrassen nog niet gebruikt kunnen worden.
