Great house museum, recently re-opened (Dec. 2020) for very small guided tours of up to 4 people. Covid precautions are in place so everyone stays safe. Amazing collection of Mexican folk art, the owners have great taste and it's really awesome they use their passion (collecting) to raise money for local charities. Our guide, David, was excellent – took his time with us (1.5 hours) and was an extreme pleasure. Go visit!

Amazing house decorated with art pieces everywhere. David, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about every piece, open and friendly. Highly recommended.

We visited December 2020- they are currently open for guided tours. We had a very small group for our tour, so we were able to ask plenty of questions to our guide, David. The 5 USD entry fee goes towards local charities, which is well-worth the 1.5 hour tour. PLENTY to see, very relaxed atmosphere.

Really cool house decorated with TONS of Mexican folk art. Loved seeing museum-quality art in an actual home, as opposed to a sterile museum. Come around 10am for the tour. Lasts about 30 min and costs 100 pesos or 5 USD, all donated to local charities. Well worth a stop.

Wonderful private museum “House” in Valladolid. Amazing that the owners are willing to share their collection of Mexican art with the public. The only ask is for a small contribution to meet the expenses for the guided tours....amount equivalent to 5.00 US. Collection is set in many house venues including kitchen, dining, courtyard, bedroom suites, bars, and pools. Highly recommended just for the social and historical perspective education from the works. Tour guides are very well versed in all aspects of the collection.d tours.

Casa de los Venados ---- AMAZING home! If you love Mexican Folk Art - this home / Museum is definitely worth the trip.while visiting Valladolid. It's a Must See!! A beautiful display of lovingly collected Mexican folk art. Tours daily @ 10am are free but a 5 donation top support the local community is suggested -The guides Miguel and David were friendly and very informative. Check out the dining room -- beautiful hand painted chairs of famous Mexicans.

Private residence full of Mexican Art, on the weird side but very interesting. Very affordable, takes about 1.5 hours to go by on a guided tour available in English. Last tour starts at 1 so go early.

A must see in Valladolid! It's a private house hosting a very interesting collection of Mexican contemporary art. Donations are used to support local charities.
