Look, the restaurant is good, but at least with us, it didn't live up to the hype. I came with my wife and a couple of friends. We ordered two paellas way beforehand, on the phone: a duck paella and a vegetables paella. Firstly, the paellas took a long time to arrive, even though we ordered it some 3 hours before. The vegetables one was good, aside from lacking a little bit salt. The duck one was disappointing: it utterly lacked salt, and for a duck paella, it had a very small quantity of duck. Aside from that, I ordered an espresso, and the guy asked me if I wanted a long espresso. I said I did, and that I also wanted sweetener instead of sugar. After a while, he brought me a short espresso (the long one was his suggestion) with sugar instead of sweetener. I don't usually mind theses things too much, but this restaurant has the reputation of having arguably the best paella in the whole of the Valencian community.. But that's not the case, and I really think you can find better paellas - and better service - in the city.

Great Paella and eel on edge of rice field! Quality of food higher then some shameless plebeian trip advisor restaurants:) I walked town and also thought location over looking rice fields was preferable and quite lovely watching birds and storks. Took a quick siesta on a Barca just outside as food made me over eat:)

Our favorite restaurant in El Palmar, the birthplace of paella. Bon Aire is always filled with locals from Valencia, so it's worth booking ahead, especially if you want to sit outside with a nice view of the rice fields. Great bustling atmosphere of people enjoying wonderful food together, great prices, and a friendly staff.

Make sure to call for reservation before going ! Great place to eat outside with the rice fields right in front of you, and rhe waiter is very kind and convenient. Also the best aioli we ate was here. Definitely !
