Rosa Van Parys and Diane Amirian have been directly responsible for several professional projects in our home as well as my 9,000 Sq Ft Office Space. The design concepts and schemes have been beyond innovative and simply magnificent. As a Business Manager my office needed a unique concept. The design implemented a fusion of all areas within the Entertainment Industry that accommodated my various and diverse range of clients. When clients come in for meetings they tend to walk the entire office to view the entire concept. The same innovation and uniqueness has transcended to our home as well. So many are in complete awe when they visit our home and enjoy scrutinizing the detail involved in the overall design and contents. Thank you again Rosa and Diane for the vision that you possess. We were already almost one year into our big remodeling project when we realized that it was not working with our current architect and decided it was time to reconsider things. It was stressful period because this experience told us that choosing the right architect partner is instrumental for the success of such sizable endeavor. We were incredibly lucky to be referred to ‘Van Parys Architecture Design’ and we realized that as soon as we pushed the door of their office. During our first meeting with Rosa and Michael, we were impressed by the positive energy, the sheer design vision, and the constant creativity. We, therefore, decided to hire ‘Van Parys Architecture Design’ to manage our remodel from cradle to grave, i.e. from first architectural drawings to final interior design. And I must admit that this experience is second to none. Throughout the process we realized ‘Van Parys Architecture Design’ global vision and followed all their recommendations. It has been a constant flow of creative design solutions, which makes our house uniquely fitting our personality and so different from anything we have seen so far. We were also pleasantly surprised by the knowledge of the whole team, always providing great feedback or advice. When I first arrived at Van Parys Architecture Design, I questioned how one firm could do more than one thing well (the old adage). As I familiarized myself with their studio, it became apparent that they do, indeed, do many things well - multifaceted; with integrity and without compromise. Their skill, artistic insight and capabilities are outstanding; ready to promote our initial ideas, take them to the next level, be the innovators that they are and that we need, or delicately suggest ways to scale some of my overreaching ideas back into the budget. We have never felt like ‘just another client’ with the Van Parys team. They have taken the time to know us personally; a bit of our history, our family, our passions, and our experiences. Their genuine interest fuels their creativity and vigor for the project and the take away is clear, from design to execution. Disclaimer: COVID has kept our plans from reaching the ‘execution’ stage, but with patience and their drive for solution, Michael and Rosa are helping to reimagining our project, realign it within our needs and reassess without hesitation, all while continuing to generate excitement, inspiration and options. Importantly, I have had the pleasure of working with the entire staff and of meeting the Van Parys extended family. I’ve seen that Michael & Rosa, like us, consider family sacred. It has been a pleasure to work with VPA&D on two remodels in the past seven years. My family and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Rosa and Michael are a dynamic and talented couple with a creative team that transformed our dated houses into stylish, timeless, warm and comfortable homes. Our renovations were quite extensive involving kitchen remodeling, adding a master suite, adding and redesigning bathrooms, replacing a staircase and fireplaces, raising ceilings, opening up rooms, leveling floors in addition to decorating all these spaces. Their designs were artistic and innovative, contemporary while keeping the integrity of our homes and always addressed our budgetary constraints. Rosa is not only a gifted designer, she is a personable and genuine individual. Her ingenuity, creativity and vision are beyond description. She listens and tailors her unique designs to meet our needs and lifestyle. She and her team are always flexible and able to adjust with alternative plans or resources if needed. She seamlessly incorporated many of our furnishings from one house to the other even though the styles were quite different. There are so many important decisions to be made when remodeling...it’s very reassuring and gives me peace of mind to have professionals I trust to guide me in the right direction saving time and costly mistakes. It’s really quite an exciting and rewarding experience to work with experts like VPA&D!

I have said this many times off the record and I will say it for the record, The Van Parys Architecture and Design Team are worth their weight in gold! My husband and I recently purchased a home in North Ranch here in Westlake Village and I personally had BIG ambitions for our forever home! So big, that I knew whoever I partnered with on this project, would need to be innovative in their designs and concepts, strong communicators, flexible, and highly skilled at time and project management. Michael and Rosa and their entire team embody all these things and so much more! Our project truly started to pick up momentum right when Covid-19 hit back in early March, however the team did not skip a beat and all engagements were quickly transitioned over to Zoom and we were able to continue to move forward with out any loss in timeline or productivity. From initial architectural/design concepts to solidifying what we would move forward with, the team presented with a collaborative dynamic, spoke up and shared new ideas without hesitations, and often surprised me with ideas for components of the home I wanted re-worked. I cannot express in words the level of talent and skill that has been demonstrated throughout this entire project and the level of understanding and patience that was awarded with every change and new direction that was taken. Overall, this has been a beyond re-warding experience to work with the entire team at Van Parys Architecture and Design and if you are looking to have a positive, organized, and enjoyable experience – Do your due diligence, but you will not find another firm that does it better!

I worked with Riley and Diane on a pretty demanding project that required lots of communication relative to complex design.
