Always have had a great experience on the Anglers Dream! Paddling, swimming, floating island and many drinks later it was a successful journey! Swimming party is awesome and I highly recommend Captain Rod!

Had my batchelorette party on Rod's boat. Warm summer evening with a beautiful sunset and dancing with the girls at the front deck of the boat. Nice and private, great captain and crew made it just perfect! Thanks Rod for making it special for me.
What an experience!!! We booked a tour to Bowen Island for a family day trip and picnic. We had never done anything like this before, and it was even better than we could have imagined! The boat was gorgeous and really well maintained (no black soled shoes allowed!) and our hosts were friendly, authentic and capable. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, the views were incredible, and it was simply an unforgettable day for all. I highly recommend families out there to pitch together and do this at least once...every year if you can! Thank you to the Captain and our wonderful host; still feeling the happy glow!!!
While captain Rod was extremely friendly and knowledgeable the trip that I went on didn’t feel like a fishing trip more than it felt like I was taking a luxury boat trip. We payed for the 15 person boat that cost 1400 and didn’t catch any fish. Not only that but for the straight five hours that we were fishing we never used a fish tracker as captain Rod preferred to be natural !! but once there was obviously no fish biting, maybe we could have gone to a different area rather than staying in the same area for the whole 5 hours, also I noticed the spoon were bent,, maybe that was a reason (I am not an expert). The last thing that felt very unnatural and weird to us was the small lack of privacy that we were given. Both captain rod and his co captain opened our personal cooler without asking. I’m sure they were just checking what was inside however the fact that they opened it without any permission or gave us any hint made us quite uncomfortable.
Had a lovely time with a knowledgeable Captain. The boat was clean and we felt safe with this crew. The fishing is incredible and so was the scenery. Can't wait to come back to Vancouver and do this again. One of the crew was telling me about the fireworks festival and how they charter viewing events. So much fun.
If the weather is good. Of course you guys got a good experience. But when the weather is bad and can't go anymore. Then we can't get our money back and didn't reply us anymore. What a really "successful " business!!! We're not the first one but definitely not the last one how you treat before!
We chartered a fishing trip/boat cruise for our department at work as a team building day. Captain Rod and Crew were awesome! The caterer they work with is equally as awesome and the crew makes sure all the food makes in on board which is easy (food was delicious). Everyone enjoyed themselves and the crew was very easy going and fun! Might make it an annual activity now and highly recommend to anyone looking to get out for the day!!
Captain Rod and First mate took great care of me and my family. My boy caught a flounder and salmon and we all had a great day. Thanks so much.
