Wrote to an individual named \Amelia Lau\ and asked to stop my monthly withdrawals from my bank account because I no longer wished to support BCCHF. I continue to have the amount withdrawn from my account on the 1st of each month and no reply to my emails. Completely unprofessional.

No one wants to have to have a child in the hospital, but if you do find you need to Children's hospital is by far the best in the lower mainland. The level of care and understanding not only for the sick child but for the families of the sick child is very refreshing. My son had to have surgery and I was able to have his twin sister stay with me in the hospital room so they were not seperated. There were many things for her to do so she was not so bored as her brother recovered. A laundry room, amenities room for children to play in. Volunteers to help so parents can have a short 'break'. A Starbucks and second cup coffee shop, or if you are looking for more the cafeteria food really is pretty good. While we stayed at the hospital there was a dog that came to visit, that made me smile and my daughter loved him. The typical 'hospital noise' was not nearly as loud or distracting as it is in regular hospitals. The genetics and plagiocephaly team here are also excellent. I can never thank all the staff enough for the terrific help they are and have been to my family. If anyone were wondering where to donate money to...THIS place should be in the top five-they really make ac difference.

Great doctors. Great experience. Everyone seems to understand that it is hard for parents to be there. Their understanding and kindness makes a difference. And they helped reduce seizures in my baby.
