So more than a year later, the owner who never even saw my face in the hotel replies to my review with untruthful info about me 9 hrs ago. Im sorry, but saying these things just prove my point of how unprofessional you are sir. How can an owner of such place have the courage of trying to say lies about my personal hygiene since you never saw me. I'm sorry if my comment hurt your feelings. Perhaps if you put the same effort into improving your hotel rather than trying make very old tenants who are no longer staying there for more than a year look bad, such comments like my own wouldn't be necessary.
I do not recommend this place. When I got to my room after work it was full of cockroaches. They were all over the floor, my clothes and even my bed. It couldn't have been my fault because I just moved in there and everything I brought in was clean and I never had a problem with cockroaches before. It took two days to contact the Manager and she didn't feel the need to come over or do anything about the cockroaches. In the middle of the second night I could finally move to a room on the fourth floor. I stayed there for three nights but decided to move out there too because in the kitchen and on the hallway on the fourth floor were cockroaches too. After four days I could finally talk to the manager in person. She still made me pay 80/night which is almost half month rest. When I told her to solve the problem she said that they're already doing the best they can. Seems not to be enough in that case. Very disappointed and I am sorry for the next person who moves to that room. At least the receptionists were very nice and tried to do their best to help me out.
Internet hasn’t worked for days and they refuse to fix it.
Dirty sheets, dirty bathrooms the staff is nice but this place is far from being a hotel. The location is nice but the drug addicts shooting heroin all around the building make it hard to enjoy the place. I even heard a girl die there from cocaine overdose.
Beautiful people, clean rooms, affordable prices for gas town VANCOUVER!!! yes, the building is old and yes, there are many homeless near by - but so there are in another parts of Vancouver as well. Security is always on Site - and building itself has high-security - you cannot get in unless they know you!
As a student I love this place! Affordable prices, really clean environment and all the utilities are included, internet too! Overall a very lovely with a lovely stuff!
