I was diagnosed with acute leukemia last May. My doctor sent a letter of grievant need of disability to Service Canada and I did the paperwork and received a response saying I would begin receiving disability payments in July. I waited several months and phoned Service Canada in November and they said it would be coming in 2 weeks. Nothing. In December I contacted Disability Alliance B.C. and left a message. I received a response in February that gave me a website address. When I accessed the website it offered me options on how I could advertise on their website. I never received any help from them in any way.

Can never get through, phone line always says the mailbox is full and there is no way to tell them. This is who the government recommended.

They're an excellent society they've helped me with my taxes they've helped me with my disability claim when I was denied the first time they had it approved in 3 hours they're a wonderful group of people that want nothing more than to help people with disabilities only one downside I missed an appointment for doing my taxes due to seizures and I can't seem to get them to return my call so I can finally finish filing my 2019 taxes but if you're a person with a disability I recommend disability the alliance BC most definitely
