Just purchased a Subaru Forester Sport 2020. Merica was our salesperson and she was awesome, no pressure, lots of time to think about the deal and was able to answer all our questions. Upgrading from a 2009 forester and the 2020 does not disappoint.
We recently acquired a car from this dealership in Jan 2020. Our sales representative, Daniel Kwenty, was one of the main factors we made the decision to move forward with the purchase. We have been researching Subaru vehicles over the past 6 months and were on the fence on whether to make the investment. Daniel answered all our questions, even the ones that were not really related to the car like taxes and financial planning. This really helped us to make the final decision and go for it. We love the car and we are sure we will even enjoy it more once we get to try it out in a road trip. I recommend Daniel and the Docksteader Subaru team in case you are thinking on getting a Subaru.
Excellent customer service, start to finish! My lease was almost up on my WRX and I wanted a different colour and to upgrade to the sport tech trim. Sales person Merica & her boss Sandro were very easy going and helpful, no sales pressure whatsoever! This is Subaru’s largest location in the West Coast and they had the model and trim level I was after. In my experience, Subarus practically sell themselves. Their reputation precedes them and if you’ve done your homework, you know what they can do. That said, you won’t experience unwanted, awkward sales pressure (unlike with domestic car dealerships). Customer service aside, I even got a smoking good deal, unheard of for a brand new Subaru WRX! But that’s not all, they even paid the remainder of my lease payments! (2000) I booked an appointment the night before, went for a test drive the next morning, paperwork completed and drove away just after noon. All thanks to Merica & her boss Sandro. The free Keurig Starbucks coffee was the cherry on the top. Thanks again Merica & Sandro!
Docksteader Subaru was an all-around excellent car buying experience. If you are looking for a Subaru, look no further. I first made the mistake of driving out to Langley to look at Subaru's and had an absolutely terrible negotiating experience - the reason people abhor the car buying experience, and I walked out as frustrated as could be. In contrast, the Docksteader experience could not have been smoother or better! Tiffany was honest and upfront about every little thing and cost of my 2020 Forester. The thing I appreciated most was how they print up the \invoice\ sheet right away (once you know exactly what you want), showing every last item and tax. Even the so-called dealer prep charge was unexpectedly included as part of the advertised sale price, a very pleasant surprise. From there it was a simple process to counter-offer, as you could easily see your \out the door price\, with no surprises - something I wasn't expecting at all. Highly recommended.
