My partner and I did the full moon kayak tour in May with Ecomarine Jericho. Even though the clouds were covering the moon, the experience of being out on the ocean in the dark was beautiful and peaceful. We were a group of 7 boats with two guides. Our guides, Rosa and Lauren, were very personable and knowledgeable and they shared a lot of interesting facts of Burrard inlet, tanker boats, wildlife, and paddling. They also did a great job of making sure that we all felt comfortable and kept the pace slow that we could all enjoy paddling. I would definitely recommend this company and the full moon tour to both new or experience paddlers!
Paddle-sporting for my wife and I came up as great human powered activity to get out on the water. After a few lessons & then a rental from this company we decided to get our own boats. My wife was so excited. Owner of this place couldn't have been more helpful & informative in getting her into the right boat. Since that time we have happily taken our sea canoes out in English Bay to play as well as soloed for up to a week at a time with the addition of necessary clothing & gear from this store. All you really need to get paddling is here. Summer staff are obviously hired for their knowledge & enthusiasm as they add to the depth of knowledge & interest of the friendly folks who are their year round. Great pricing & there is always something on the sale rack. Love you guy's!
I took the Basic Kayak Training. Was over 2 days and was filled with tons of good information. The instructor Jesse was very knowledgeable and even taught us more than what was need because we had time. If you have never taken a class I highly recommend you do. .
All the staff are very nice, and the membership is really a good price for the personal practice. you can try different kinds of kayaks and enjoy the nature at your spare time.
Very fun experience in a beautiful location. Easy to reserve online. We were even a bit late and they didn't take any time off of our rental. Would recommend
It was easy to book on-line. The folks that got us set up with our kayaks were really friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful couple of hours paddling, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
