Delicious as usual! I've been going to El Caracol for years. I love how they package the food for takeout, my food was still hot after the 30 minute drive back home.

We had the chicken fajitas, chicken enchilada, and the chorizo enchilada. Great taste, the rice was made I guess with some soup stock, delicious. Great value for the money, tasty salsa, and the lady at the counter was very very nice. The pupusas were in high demand that day (1 hour wait) so next time we go we will try them. Next visit, we got the pupusas-maybe lucky we had to wait as they now serve 'loroco'. Three to an order, we got the cheese/bean/pork and the loroco. They were both delicious and served with cabbage salad and tomato salsa. The loroco (didn't know about this plant before) tasted like a cross between spinach and cactus. We also got the chicken enchilada plate-with beans, rice, and a bit of veg (and avocado which was nice). Again, great value for the money and had leftovers like last time. *They are cash only, and parking is on side streets.

I have been going to this delicious little spot ever since I moved close by 4 years ago. The food is tasty and cheap. Best pupusas in town!

I was really mind blown when I tasted their food (I ordered take out so the pieces were a bit misplaced when I got home) BUT wow. The pickled veggies are crunchy and sour to the perfect point. The rice was tender, flavorful and melts in my mouth. The black bean paste was nicely textured. And the tostada, beautifully done. It was so reasonably priced and incredibly delicious. Gracias!

Best pupusas in Vancouver! Friendly service, clean restaurant, reasonably priced, delicious food. There are only 2 minor things I don't like, one is that there is very little parking available (street parking only) and the second is that the food often takes a long time. Having said that, I still think they deserve 5 stars because the food is so good and they are very polite and friendly.
