Huge thank you to FairTradeWorks and my advisor Jamie! I have to say that I was feeling very overwhelmed at the thought of doing renovations in my condo and finding a company who would be the right fit for me. I first met Jamie during an open house for another project that FairTradeWorks completed in my building and we seemed to connect. Suddenly the feeling of overwhelming turned into a feeling of excitement for what I wanted to accomplish. My renovation consisted of removing a separating wall between the kitchen and living room/dining room as well as redoing the flooring and ceiling. Everyone that I had contact with during the project was very professional and respectful; no question/concern was ever too big or too small (even the picky little things). As my advisor, Jamie was very responsive and accommodating and always made sure that I was happy with what was happening and the outcome of the project. The COVID pandemic added extra concern to my project but the health and safety of everyone was at the forefront and it didn’t seem to impede things at all. In the end, I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. I now have this beautiful open concept space and a much more functional kitchen. It’s airy and bright and ready for entertaining. The completed look is amazing and I can’t wait to show it off!

Drawing upon his vast construction knowledge and experience, Jim Perkins always proposes suitable options without overselling or attempting to sway me towards the most expensive course of action. Considering the age of my house, Jim Perkins usually suggests that taking the more economical, yet workable solution might be the best way to go.
