I went into the Broadway/Pine Future shop to get a new car audio deck installed in my expensive SUV. The Future Shop salesman told me that it would save me about 50 dollars if I ordered the wiring harness from Amazon that would be required on the install. I did this and they installed the deck. 2 days later I started to receive problems with my deck...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work....I contacted Future Shop head office and the customer service department told me that they would take care of this right away. This was a month ago. I have called them a number of times since then and they tell me the same thing...Now they are telling me that the 30 day warranty might have expired....I phoned the actual store and the store manager took care of the problem right away...The customer service department at head office needs improvement in terms of taking care of their customers. I am pleased that the store manager took care of me.
Every single person working there except for the communication head was incredibly rude. they don't make eye contact, are very sassy and was even sarcastic when answering questions. I waited 30 minutes for service and while the worker was helping someone else. He didn't even look at me or tell me anything and he just left after helping the other customer. He said he was off and the department is closed for the day! I was so angry. there are never justifications in future shop, just excuses and denials for the poorest customer service.
Terrible customer service, convoluted return / exchange policies (lots of fine print to read), astronomically high prices on accessories (printer cables, network cables, etc.) Not much reason to buy anything at Future Shop unless you need it RIGHT away.
Always prompt service and knowledgeable staff. Great end of month promotions too.
I recently had a terrible experience trying to purchase a laptop through the online store. After three days of drama I filed a complaint. The manager at this store called me and resolved my complaint immediately even though it was an online store problem. I am really happy with my new laptop and with the fact that this store listened to my complaint and went above and beyond to help turn my experience around.
Had to get a phone replaced through warranty. Great service and we were out in no time with a fixed phoned.
Horrible service and no option to return gifts with receipt for cash, only in-store credit? That's BS. I will never but anybody a gift from a store with such a horrible policy.
