I signed up recently and wasn't quite familiar with the booking system. The staff here, especially Cassandra, has been more than accommodating and patient in guiding me through the whole process. She made the whole process super easy for me. Safety precautions are also great, and I've never had any issues with cleanliness or social distancing.

Such a good gym, the staff and trainers are all so friendly and are willing to help when you need it. The equipment is always super sanitized and they have great protocols in place to make sure that people are being safe and sanitary because of COVID-19. There is a wide array of equipment and many squat racks for people to use which is nice since not many gyms have this luxury. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone!

Gold's Gym UMP is awesome! The staff are super friendly and they always make you feel welcome. They have all the equipment you need and have COVID precautions in place to make sure you feel safe when working out. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!

I moved to Vancouver while the Covid-19 lockdown was ongoing from Ontario. I wanted to get back to the gym ASAP. Gold's BC offered me a good deal in May for multi-access across all Gold's Gyms in BC, which would activate once the gyms were allowed to reopen. I first used the West Broadway facility before the UBC location reopened. The UBC location is great. It has everything I need. The staff are friendly. Not hard to register a spot (right now you need to make a reservation to workout), since the location isn't crowded. I think the company is doing pretty good considering the circumstances.

I have really enjoyed my time so far at this gym! They have a decent selection of equipment and machines and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Also, the facility is kept very clean and sanitized, which is extra important now with all of the COVID-19 guidelines in place.
