We offer Kayaking lessons for all levels, from 3h introductory lessons for Beginners to comprehensive weekend lessons up to Paddle Canada Level 2 courses. We also offer various clinics to help you advance and develop your skills. And if you’re up for a new challenge try out surfskiing, it is a whole lot of fun! Looking for a great activity for your kids during the summer? Sign them up for one of our half-day or full-day kayaking camps! This is one of the best places to go in Vancouver. Customer care was excellent. Very easy to book. All your valuables are stored safely and changing and bathroom facilities available. Instructors are great. They even push you off. Probably the most beautiful scenery in Vancouver to look at while on the water. Top tip, book early evening to see the sunset.

All around excellent experience! Our 3 couple "bubble" of novice kayakers did a sunset paddle in tandem kayaks... Our guide Tomo was outstanding he had our boats all setup on the beach (newer boats, very clean & dry) explained how to best use our paddles and highlighted how each couple should/could work as a team to get best results on the water. The tour was marvelous, Tomo was attentive at all times and kept us on track, English Bay was calm and the sunset was outstanding! Upon return to the beach other Jericho Kayak staff (wearing masks) greeted us and helped us land and took the boats & PFD's. All in all a great evening and one we will repeat soon.

Had a fabulous time on the Full Moon Tour on Halloween, our guides were caring and professional. I have also joined the Winter Paddle Tour on Saturday afternoons, it was also fun and just the right amount of time (for me). Here is a photo from the Halloween Tour, it was magical!

I have only good things to say about Jericho Beach Kayak Centre. Their staff are amazing: always friendly, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their boats are good quality and well maintained. Their rates are really reasonable and I can almost always reserve my favourite kayak. I also appreciate the extra security measures in place in the facility during the pandemic. And their location is a prime spot to set out from. Best paddling in the city, hands down.

Went on this 2 hour beginner tour at sunset, this was my first time using a kayak and it was super simple. I thought i would fall in for sure but never even felt like i would fall in. Ken was the best teacher, super calm and patient and positive. Met at the kayak centre, they have lockers for your phone and personal items that they will hold for you. Or you can take them with you, you will get a bit wet (based on your skill level with a paddle) but not wet enough to ruin a phone as most new models are water resistant. Took about 25 min ride from downtown vancouver to the kayak centre. Kayaks used were two person kayaks, with double headed paddles. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I’ve gone out on the full moon paddle - it’s magical! The guides are great. I’ve rented with these folks 5 or 6 times. The only thing that would keep me away is buying my own kayak.
